I was going for a woozy, dreamy effect to this, with things heading in a more beat-driven direction, and a more cut up, stop-starty feel to the track. While I was making it I was thinking about exploration, perilous sea voyages and surfing giant waves ...I wanted it to almost have a documentary kind of feel to it, with little snatched scenes (hopefully) making some sort of whole.
